These terms govern your use of Pith ("the Service"), a Slack-based AI assistant that helps you draft and post tweets to X/Twitter. By installing the Pith Slack app, you agree to these terms.
Pith is a conversational AI tool that operates inside Slack. It analyzes your public X/Twitter history to build a voice profile, then uses that profile to generate tweet drafts that match your writing style. You can refine drafts through conversation and post approved tweets to your connected X account.
Pith uses a strict two-phase confirmation flow for all tweets. No content is ever posted to your X account without your explicit, affirmative approval. Every draft requires you to actively confirm before it publishes. You always have the final say.
You access Pith through Slack. You must connect your X/Twitter account to use posting features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected accounts and for all content posted through them.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior, without prior notice.
You agree not to use Pith to:
You own all content you create through Pith. We claim no intellectual property rights over your tweets, drafts, or voice profile data. AI-generated drafts become yours once delivered to you.
You grant Pith a limited license to process your tweets and messages solely for the purpose of providing the Service (voice profiling, draft generation, posting).
Pith is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that drafts will be appropriate, accurate, factually correct, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI-generated content may contain errors or produce unexpected results. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it posts to your account.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, reputation, or goodwill, regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Your use of Pith is also governed by our Privacy Policy,
which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. The Privacy Policy explains
how explicit feedback you submit (via /pith feedback or in response to a
feedback probe) may be reviewed by the Pith team to improve drafting quality, and how
passive signals such as draft abandonment are processed as operational telemetry. You
can delete your data at any time by typing delete my data in your Pith DM
(a dedicated /pith delete-my-data slash command will be available as the
beta framework rolls out), and once feedback prompts are active in your workspace you
can mute them with /pith mute feedback.
Pith integrates with Slack, X/Twitter, Stripe, and Anthropic. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. Pith is not responsible for the availability, policies, or actions of third-party services.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via Slack DM at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
